Commands

Connecting the monitor to a computer via RS-232C or to a network via LAN allows for the transmission of commands to the
monitor, providing remote control of the monitor from a connected device.

This monitor supports control command, which is listed in the “External_Control.pdf” (See

page 69

), but also supports

common ASCII control command, which is used for controlling the NEC monitor or projector from a connected computer.

NOTEN:

If you turn off the monitor when [QUICK START] is [DISABLE], ASCII command control is not available over RS-232C.
To activate ASCII command control while the monitor is off, set [QUICK START] to [ENABLE].
