The simulation of the model is controlled by items from the Debug menu.

Go restarts the simulation and sets the variables to its initial values.

Step simulates the model once (one loop)

Continue simulates the model a number of loops that is setup by the Change run steps dialog

Stop terminates the simulation and returns to the edit mode of the schematic.

-if the model has crashed Unload DLL can be used to remove it from memory.

The actual number loops that have been simulated is displayed in a button of the task bar

The number of loops that are started by the Continue item is setup by the Change Run Steps dialog that is

opened by a button from the task bar.

Displaying

during Simulation

Besides the display of values in the monitor and trace windows which always display the complete history
during the simulation session, the actual

can also be displayed by the quick value option. This is turned

on by the Quick Value item of the View menu or by a check field of the Settings dialog called from the
Options menu.
If the quick value option is turned on the actual value of a port is displayed if the mouse rests upon it within a
schematic window. A small text window appears. This kind of display is available for all values but shows no
history.

Changing Values during Simulation

The actual

of a port can be changed manually by the following actions:

move the mouse pointer over this port,
open the context sensitive menu by the right mouse button,

select the Change Value item.
