4.11.2.1. Ethernet Communication
To connect the Ethernet communication cable:
1. The EtherCAT IN port can be configured as an Ethernet port for TCP/IP – see the EtherCAT
Manual.
2. It is recommended to use CAT5e (or higher) cable. Category 5e cable is a high signal
integrity cable with four twisted pairs.
