C and D Type
Thermocouples

C (tungsten-5% rhenium versus
tungsten-26% rhenium)
D (tungsten-3% rhenium versus
tungsten-25% rhenium)

Types C and D thermocouples are recommended for use in the
temperature range from 0

2320 °C (32…4208 °F) in non-oxidizing

inert atmospheres. They are not practical for use below 399 °C
(750 °F). Beware of embrittlement.
