Installing a Spider
NOTE: The Spider LP (grey plastic enclosure rate IP20) is suitable
for mounting indoors only in environments where limited deviations in
temperature or humidity occur. Installing the unit outdoors or in other
environments that experience extreme changes in moisture or
temperature will void the warranty and could cause unit malfunction
or failure. For operating temperatures outside the range of 23 to 122
degrees Fahrenheit, provide heating or cooling devices to maintain
proper operating conditions.
The method for installing an ADS Spider depends on the location and
environment in which the unit will operate. For indoor installations,
mount the Spider directly to a flat wall using appropriate fasteners
through the predrilled holes in the unit. The unit has four mounting
holes for securing the unit to walls or back panels of enclosures.
Refer to the following illustration for preparing a template or drilling
pilot holes prior to installation.
