5.10 Library

When an item is processed on a regular basis, the item’s data may be stored in memory for future use. This
memory is referred to as the Balance’s Library.

Refer to Section 4 for details.

5.11 I/O Settings

Enter this menu to set the optional input and output device parameters.

Set the function to be controlled by an optional external input device, such as a
footswitch. There are four possible settings for each.

OFF

=

disabled

ZERO

= equivalent to pressing the ZERO button.

TARE

= equivalent to pressing the TARE button.

PRINT

= equivalent to pressing the PRINT button.

5.12 Diagnostics

Use this menu to enable the Diagnostics (troubleshooting) functions, and to enter the Service menu;

5.12.1 Level Bubble Light
To verify proper operation of the illuminated Level Bubble.

When selected, this light should blink.

5.12.2 Draft Shield Light (Analytical models)
To verify proper operation of the Draft Shield Light.

When selected, this light should blink.

5.12.3 Sensors
To verify proper operation of each Touchless Sensor.

When operated, each sensor should light and make a sound.

5.12.4 Service Menu
Used to enter the Ohaus Service menu (Service personnel only). A password is required
to access this menu;
