(1) Data Communications Address (SW #1 – #3): 0 – 3
(Default: 0)
To enable data communications with the FS-7000RF, set the address of the first unit to 0, the second unit to
1, the third unit to 2, and the fourth unit to 3.

Note
Remote microphones cannot be used with any other settings.

1. Setting switch on the FS-7000RM's right side panel
Make the following switch settings to match the needs and uses of the system.

(2) Number of Group Keys (SW #4 and #5): 0/10/20
(Default: 0)
Designate the number of zone selector keys to be used as group selector keys when the FS-7000GM is
connected to the FS-7000RF.
"0": If

the number is set to "0," all keys are individual zone selector keys and no group selector key is created.

"10": The FS-7000RM's zone selector keys are changed into group selector keys.
"20": The zone selector keys of the FS-7000RM and those of the first FS-7010RM unit connected to the FS-

7000RM are changed into group selector keys.

(3) Microphone Compressor (SW #6): ON/OFF
(Default: ON)
Set the built-in compressor to ON or OFF.
Selecting ON automatically limits the microphone volume to the range in which the output will not distort,
thereby preventing broadcasts from sounding unpleasant.

2. Talk Key Mode (Equipment Internal Jumpers): PTT/Alternate
(Default: PTT)
Set the Talk Key's operation mode to either the "PTT" (Press-to-Talk) mode, which enables microphone
announcements to be made while the key is being pressed, or the "Alternate" mode, in which announcements
are enabled by pressing the key once and terminated by pressing it again. To select the Alternate mode, open
the microphone cover and change the internal jumper's position. (See page 75.)
