6.7. FS-7000GM
Connect the FS-7000GM to the system when selecting broadcast zone groups using the zone selector keys of
the FS-7000CP or FS-7000RM. For each FS-7000GM, up to 50 zones can be programmed for group
selection. Add 2 or more FS-7000GMs (up to 4 units) to the system to program more than 50 zones for group
selection.
6.7.1. Changing the FS-7000CP's/7010CP's zone selector keys into group selector keys
If the FS-7000GM is connected to the FS-7000CP, the FS-7000CP's individual zone selector keys can be
used as group selector keys, permitting multiple broadcast zones to be selected simultaneously by pressing a
single key. Further, connecting the FS-7010CP to the FS-7000GM makes up to 20 group selector keys
available.
[System Operation]
The individual zone selector keys on the FS-7000CP panel, and on the first one of 6 connected FS-7010CP
panels, function as group selector keys, while those on the 2nd to 6th FS-7010CP panels function as
individual zone selector keys.
Note: Open the cover and install the necessary parts before use.
Install the necessary diodes and connectors on the circuit board first according to the desired
group broadcast zone allocation. The FS-7000GM comes supplied with the necessary parts and
cannot be used without this modification. For details, see page 71; Installing Diodes on the FS-
