6.14. Automatic Fire Alarm Systems

Fire evacuation announcements can be made to the broadcast zones selected automatically when the
connected automatic fire alarm system is activated. The FS-7000EV is used for evacuation guidance
broadcasts. Connect the instruction signals for selecting broadcast zones, which are transmitted from the
connected automatic fire alarm system, to the Fire Alarm System Input of the FS-7000CP or FS-7010CP.
If the Fire Alarm System Input's Terminals 1 and C are shorted, then the FS-7000JP's Speaker Output 1 is
selected. Similarly, Speaker Output 10 is selected at the Fire Alarm System Input 's Terminal 10. When a
single instruction signal covers a single floor with multiple broadcast zones, make connections so that the
instruction signal is routed to multiple fire alarm inputs and these zones can be selected simultaneously via a
single instruction signal. If announcements must be automatically broadcast to the fire floor, and immediately
upper and lower floors, the automatic fire alarm system needs be set to output such an instruction signal
immediately after smoke detectors are activated.

[Note]
Connect the instruction signal from the automatic fire alarm system to the Fire Alarm System Input of the FS-
7000CP and FS-7010CP connected to the FS-7000JP. Avoid connecting the signal to the FS-7000CP and
FS-7010CP connected to the FS-7000GM's GM Group Control Input.
