Use the filter set nudge buttons to position the arrow above
the identity number (2 to

circuit, and that the meter is set to measure Leq values.

to the width required for the measuring procedure.

The filter set display will now Indicate "Err ALL".

11. Press the sound level meter PAUSE button to release the

pause condition when it is required to begin the autoscan.

The display changes to indicate sound level plus frequency.

Microprocessor Pre-start Checks

Autoscans start as soon as the sound level meter pause condition is
released, provided the filter set microprocessor is satisfied with the
results of the following checks.

a)

"FA" or "FL" has been selected on the sound level meter, so
that the filter set Is actually included in the circuit.

b)

Sound level meter is set to determine the energy averaged
sound level (Leq).

c)

Sound level meter time weighting Is set to either "S" or "F".

It is not recommended that autoscan be used for impulsive
noise analysis, which should be performed under manual con-
trol using memory 1 as the store location.
