ALL = Three ASCII characters A, L, L indicating
All Pass
S = ASCII character identifying the Recall
store location number
If Recall is selected when no data has been stored:
Byte 1 = AO
Bytes 2-5 = 00
Byte 6
= 20 for CEL-296
Byte 7 = 28 for octave or 48 for third octave
Bytes 8-10 = 00
Byte 11
= 31 to 36 for store location number
The low power interface uses four lines in the connector at the top of
the instrument for interfacing with a Sound Level Meter, and six lines
in the bottom connector for interfacing with recording and control
instruments,
This interface should not he connected directly to RS 232 level
devices as all four lines are at CMOS levels (0 & 5 V).
Two lines in each connector are used for serial data transmission,
while two are for handshaking, and the remaining two in the bottom
connector are for stepping control.
Voltage levels: 0 & 5 V nominal (logic 0 and 1 respectively)
Baud rate: 4800 baud
Start bits: 1
Data bits: 8
Stop bits: 2
Parity: None.
