The CEL-296/3 restarts the analysis automatically when the error
condition has been rectified. It uses the same store number (unless
the Operator has re-assigned the location).

5.1.4 Recall of Stored Autoscan Data

Autoscan spectrum data stored in all six locations will be retained in
memory for later recall, even when the CEL-296/3 is switched OFF
to conserve battery life.

Stored data may be recalled manually to the filter set display, or it
can be recalled and transmitted over the CEL low power serial
interface under the control of suitably equipped instrumentation. For
information on how to recall stored data over the interface, refer to
the handbook for the relevant equipment.

Caution

All stored data will be lost if the batteries are removed
from the filter set, or the external power supply
disconnected.

Before changing the batteries, always check that it is
convenient to discard the store contents.

Manual recall of stored data can be accomplished using the CEL-
29613 on its own, and will riot require a sound level meter to be
connected. Proceed as follows.

1.

Determine which memory locations contain stored data by
switching the filter set OFF, then ON again (i.e. move the
switch back to 'Lo").

During the first five seconds after the instrument is switched
ON (while CEL is being displayed), arrow markers show which
store locations contain octave data, and during the second
