The default installation location is the \Program Files\IMC directory of the disk with the
maximum free space on Windows or /opt/IMC on Linux. This example uses C:\Program
Files\IMC.
The default data file location is the \Program Files\imcdata directory of the disk with the
maximum free space on Windows or /opt/imcdata on Linux. This example uses C:\Program
Files\imcdata.
Make sure the disk for IMC installation has at least 5 GB of free space, and the disk for storing
data files has at least 30 GB of free space. Otherwise, IMC installation or deployment fails.

Configure the Web service port numbers (8080 for HTTP and 8443 for HTTPS by default).
You can also use other service port numbers that are not used by other services. If UAM is to
be installed for the IMC system, set HTTP Port to 80. You cannot change the HTTP port number
after IMC installation is complete. To change the HTTP port number, you must reinstall IMC.

Click OK.
The window for checking installation environments appears and displays the check results, as
shown in

The system environment check includes:

Whether or not the database listening port is used by another service.

At least 2 GB of physical memory.

Required operating system version and patches.

.Net Framework 2.0 SP2 is installed.

At least 512 MB of free space on the system disk.

Adjust the installation environments according to the check results.

If the installation environments check is passed, click Continue.
The system starts to install IMC Platform subcomponents, install the embedded database to the
same partition where the Windows folder is located, and then deploy all IMC Platform
subcomponents. When the installation is complete, you can log in to the database by using
username sa and password IMC-Install2008.
After IMC installation and deployment is complete, the Batch deploy succeeded window appears,
as shown in
