1.5.4 Modem support configuration
This window is used to configure the modem connection. The modem may be used for communication with teleservice.
Parameter name Parameter description
Enable modem support
Enable or disable modem support. When disabled, the UPSMON cannot call teleservice control
service.
Connection serial port The serial port where the modem is connected.
Primary/Secondary telephone
number The telephone numbers of the teleservice control centre, these are the number where the modem
will call in case of an emergency.
Number of repeat calls The number of times the system will attempt to call in the event of a busy line or no answer.
Delay between calls The minutes of delay between each call attempt.
Accept incoming calls
Accepts incoming calls from a teleservice control centre. This can be turned off for security
reasons.
