Loosen the two thumbscrews from the top edge of the back panel.

Slide the top panel slightly to the back, disengaging the front edge of
the panel from the front top panel.

Lift the panel out and away from the chassis.

Removing the front top panel

The front top panel provides access to the hot-swap drive cage, the drive
cables, the power supply cables, and the front panel board.

To remove the front top panel:

Turn off the server and disconnect all power cords.

Observe all safety and static electricity precautions, see “Preventing static
electricity discharge” on page 25.
