accounts that you have created on the DataSafe NAS.
(If you remove the only user account on the DataSafe
NAS, security is disabled.)

WARNING:

The system generates an Internet

Guest Account and a Launch IIS
Process Account (IUSR_servername
and IWAM_servername). Do not delete
these built-in users or you will not be
able to administer the DataSafe NAS.
Deleted users cannot be recovered.

If you delete a user account and then create another
user account with the same user name, you must set
new permissions for the new user; the new user will
not inherit the permissions that were granted to the
old user.

To remove a user account

1. On the primary menu bar, select

Users and

Groups.

2. Select

Users.

(See Figure 37 on page 95.)

3. In the

Object Selection

table, select the user

account you wish to remove.

4. In the

Tasks

list, click

Delete

.

5. In the

Delete User

dialog, verify that the user

identified matches the user account you wish to
delete, then click

OK

to delete the account.
