Command

Set IP address of secondary name server

Description

Specifies the IP address of the secondary DNS name
server.

Syntax

set dns secondary-address [ip_address]

Arguments

ip_address

is the IP address of your secondary

name server. Enter 0.0.0.0 if your network does not
have a secondary DNS name server.

Example

m10> set dns secondary-address 0.0.0.0

Bridging settings

Bridging lets Nokia M10 learn host addresses as a means of
minimizing traffic. When bridging is enabled Nokia M10 maintains a
table of up to 256 MAC addresses. Entries that are not used within 10
minutes are dropped. If the bridging table fills up the oldest table
entries are dropped to make room for new entries.

Command

Enable/disable bridging

Description

Enables/disables bridging services in the Nokia M10.
You must enable bridging services within the Nokia
M10 before you can enable it for a specific interface.

Syntax

set bridge option [on|off]

Arguments

The argument enables/disables bridging.

Example

m10> set bridge option on

Command

Enable bridging for Ethernet interface

Description

Enables/disables bridging services for the Nokia M10
Ethernet interfaces.

Syntax

set bridge ethernet option [on|off]

Arguments

The argument enables/disables bridging for Ethernet
interfaces.

Example

m10> set bridge ethernet option on
