The only command you cannot truncate is
restart
. To prevent
accidental interruption of communications, you must enter the
restart
command in its entirety.
You can use the
!!
command to repeat the last command you entered.
You can press the Ctrl-P or Esc-k key sequences to obtain the same
result.
