2.11.3 SERIAL PORT (COM) SETTINGS
The COM port settings have to be set correctly to enable the communication with the built-in RFID
reader. Please follow the information below to setup the COM port settings.
Step 1: Launch the Hyper Terminal from the Start menu (Start Programs Accessories Communica-
tions HyperTerminal).
Step 2: Setup the port properties as shown below.
Bits per second: 9600
Data bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop bits: 1
Flow control: None
