USC 7000 multidrop system

Change transmitter address
So that the USC 7000 can detect the transmitter via the HART

®

bus, a

clear address value between 1 and 15 must be assigned to the
transmitter. The transmitter EVITA

®

OXY is supplied with the default

setting 0, which is used for point-to-point installations (USC 5000).
For the programming of the address of a new transmitter connect this to
the USC 7000 and select with the keys of the USC the menu item "Scan
HART bus" (

Figure 21, page 102

.) The next available address between

1 and 15 is assigned to the new transmitter.

Note:

If before the access to the HART

®

bus an OXY transmitter with an

address value that is over 0 has been registered as interrupted for longer
than two minutes, this address is assigned to the new OXY transmitter.
