The EVITA

®

OXY oxygen meter serves for the measurement of the

concentration of dissolved oxygen in water and specifically for the
control and monitoring of ventilation processes in wastewater treatment
plants, but also in other applications, for example in fish farming stations.
The EVITA

®

OXY consists of a sensor of the type OXY 1100, a

transmitter of the type OXY 4100 and a USC signal converter (Universal
Signal Converter).
There are two types of transmitters available – a float ball version
(OXY 4100) and a probe version (OXY 4150/OXY 3150). Both versions
function according to the same principle.
The USC signal converter is available in two versions – there is the
basic version USC 5000 with point-to-point communication. Also there is
the version USC 7000 with HART

®

multi-drop functionality, which

facilitates the connection of up to 15 transmitters to only two cables.
The sensor EVITA

®

OXY 1100 is the heart of the oxygen meter. The

transmitter converts the measurement values detected by the sensor
into a current signal and performs simultaneously the necessary
calculations and corrections. The signal converter serves as display-
and programming unit and also offers simultaneously additional output
options.
