The EVITA ® OXY system offers many advantages:
Transmitter with two wire technology
• effortless and fast installation
• allows up to 1000 m between the transmitter and a USC signal
converter, a display or a PLC
Problem-free maintenance
• problem-free, automatic calibration process in atmospheric air
through the TILTCAL
® device: simply hold the transmitter for
5 minutes in tilted position
• the float ball is self-cleaning
• after 2–3 years the Clark sensor is easily replaced
High reliability
• EVITA ® OXY features a self-diagnosis device
• the membrane is permanently checked for leak points
• the fault reporting is performed via the analog output of the
transmitter
Flexible measurement value transfer
• The standard HART ® communication offers additional possibilities:
• remote adjustment of the measurement range and of the
measurement units
• display of the temperature and of the volume of dissolved
oxygen, the still remaining life of the sensor OXY 1100 and
special event codes
• Tool-free insertion of the optionally available additional module into
the USC 7000.
Mechanical installation
For wall installation: Screws/hardware corresponding to the wall
properties and with sufficient load-bearing capacity must be used.
Maintenance- and repair work should be carried out only by the
authorized customer service. Only original replacement- and accessory
parts recommended by the manufacturer may be used. Changes to the
product have the loss of any liability claim as the result.
Transmitter
Installation on the handrail
The holders for the transmitters OXY 4100 and 4150 are attached with
help of the supplied hose clamps directly to the handrail. The hose
clamps must be tightened after a few days to make sure of the firm seat
of the holder.
If strong lateral forces exist, the PVC pipe must also be attached with
support wires. In this way the lateral forces working on the pipe are
reduced and a breakage of the holder prevented.

The installation must be performed by a specialist (qualified personnel) under
compliance with all locally valid safety regulations. The installation site is to be
chosen so that a safe installation and the safe operation is guaranteed.
