7.4 Closing Pipes
Receive pipes on the Data Receive
page of Data Transfer Manager
can be closed. Closing a receive
pipe prevents additional data from
being placed in it. Closing it also
allows its contents to be viewed in
the bottom window of the Data
Receive page. For any pipe that
isn't closed, this message will
appear in the window: “This pipe
is open for writing and cannot be
viewed.”
To close a receive pipe:
Step 1
Select the pipe that is to be closed.
Step 2 Click Close Pipe.
The pipe will be closed, and its contents will be shown in the bottom
window.
7.5 Saving Data Pipes
Data Transfer Manager can save data pipes that are prepared for
transmission as well as data pipes that are received.
