Changing a Device Nickname
You can change the device nickname (display name) that is displayed on
the camera.

Change the nickname.
z z Choose [Change Device Nickname].
z z Select the input field and press the < m>
button. Use the keyboard displayed to
enter a new nickname ( = 43).
X X The camera will return to the display in
step 4 and the new nickname will be
displayed.
• You can also configure this setting through touch-screen operations
(
= 91).
Returning the Wireless LAN Settings to Default
Return the wireless LAN settings to default if you transfer ownership of the
camera to another person, or dispose of it.

Access the menu.
z z Press the < n> button.

Choose [Wireless LAN Settings].
z z Move the zoom lever to choose the [ 3]
tab.
z z Press the < o><p> buttons or turn
the < 7> dial to choose [Wireless LAN
Settings], and then press the < m> button.
