Autotest Results
While the test is running, the overall status of each server test is
displayed. Once each test has completed, a performance metric
value is provided for the test. When all tests have completed, the
overall performance metric is calculated and presented. Details
on each test result may be viewed. For example, a web server
test may consist of a DNS lookup, PING response, first response,
and page read operation. The status and time for each of these
operations are shown.
The Autotest may run continuously in a loop with a
programmable delay between each iteration of the Autotest.
This feature may be used to detect problems that may only
occur at certain times of the day. In this case, the response
times for each test are recorded and the current, average,
minimum, and maximum response times for each test are
displayed. When the Autotest has completed, the response times
for any test is plotted.
