Error code (SSB2)

The command was rejected because the processing load of the storage system is heavy. Please
execute the command again after a while.

EBDC

The command was rejected because the specified S-VOL was already used in the Cnt Ac-J Z pair
for delta resync.

EBE0

The command was rejected because the all S-VOLs of the specified restore journal were not the
another Cnt Ac-J Z's S-VOLs.

EBE1

The command was rejected because the difference was not ready for the journal resync operation.

EBE2

The update data of Continuous Access Synchronous Z (master journal of the Cnt Ac-J Z pair for
delta resync operation) is inconsistent with the update data of the restore journal of the Cnt Ac-J
Z pair. Perform Cnt Ac-J Z Pairresync (journal resync mode that forcibly copies all data).

The command was rejected because the journal volume of specified restore journal was blocked.

EBE5

The command was rejected because the ATTIME Suspend function is used combining Cnt Ac-J Z
with BC Z and the split time is restored to the specified restore journal.

EBF2

The command was rejected because the split time of the ATTIME Suspend function is restored.

Service information messages (SIMs)

XP7 generates service information messages (SIMs) when service is required. SIMs are generated
by channel and storage path microprocessors and by .

The SVP reports all SIMs related to Continuous Access Journal Z processing. The SIMs reported to
the host are logged in the SYS1.LOGREC dataset of the host operating system. Each time a SIM
is generated, the amber Message LED on the control window (under the Ready and Alarm LEDs)
turns on as an additional alert for the user.

To clear Cnt Ac-J Z-related SIMs, contact HP Technical Support.

Enabling SIMs reporting to a host

You can specify whether service SIMs are reported to the host or not.

Procedure 43 To enable or disable SIMs reporting

1.

In the Storage System tree, click Replication.

2.

From the Actions menu, click Remote Replication > Edit Remote Replica Options.

3.

In the Edit Remote Replica Options window, for Copy Type, select Cnt Ac-J/Cnt Ac-J Z.

4.

Click the CU whose SIMs you want to enable or disable, and then click Change CU Options.

5.

In the Change CU Options window, in Services SIM of Remote Copy, enable or disable reporting
of SIMs to the host.

6.

Click Finish.

7.

In the Confirm window, review the settings and enter a task name in the Task Name box.

8.

Click Apply to save your settings to the system.

SIMs reference codes

SIMs are classified into four categories according to severity for reporting and logging purposes:
service, moderate, serious, or acute.
