Aufnehmen
Damit das Bild auf dem Display optimal sichtbar ist,
immer im rechten Winkel darauf sehen. Die Kamera beim
Aufnehmen ruhig und möglichst mit beiden Händen
halten, um ein Verwackeln der Aufnahmen zu vermeiden.
Sicherstellen, daß der Schalter NORMAL/MACRO1/
MACRO2 auf „NORMAL“ eingestellt ist.

Den Knopf des POWER-Schalters gedrückt
halten und den Schalter auf „REC“
schieben.
¡ Den Knopf erst loslassen, nachdem der Schalter
bis zum Anschlag auf REC geschoben worden ist.
¡ Die POWER-Lampe leuchtet auf.

Das Motiv anvisieren und den Auslöser
(SHTR-Taste) drücken.
¡ Der Auslöser funktioniert nach dem Zweistufen-
System.
Wenn Sie ihn bis ca. zur Hälfte nach unten
drücken, bis Sie einen Widerstand spüren, wird der
Auto Focus aktiviert und die Scharfeinstellung auf
den anvisierten Bildgegenstand verriegelt. Zum
effektiven Aufnehmen müssen Sie den Auslöser
über diesen Punkt hinaus bis zum Anschlag nach
unten drücken.
¡ Danach beginnt die Aufnahmeanzeige „REC“ auf
dem Display zu blinken. Während sie blinkt,
erscheint das Bild, das momentan aufgezeichnet
wird, auf dem Display. Während dieser Zeit können
keine weiteren Aufnahmen gemacht werden, da
die Kamera gerade das aufgenommene Bild
verarbeitet. (Die POWER-Lampe blinkt ebenfalls.)
¡ Sobald sich das Bild auf dem Display wieder
bewegt, können Sie den Auslöser erneut drücken,
um die nächste Aufnahme zu machen.
» Hinweise
¡ Die Scharfeinstellung erfolgt automatisch (die
Mindestentfernung zwischen Kameraobjektiv und
Bildgegenstand beträgt ca. 50 cm).
¡ Wird bei eingeschalteter Kamera innerhalb etwa einer
Minute keine Bedienung ausgeführt, so schaltet sich die
Kamera automatisch aus, um Batteriestrom zu sparen
[Abschalt-Automatik]. [Beim Einsatz des Netzadapters
(Sonderzubehör) funktioniert die Abschaltautomatik
nicht.] Um danach erneut Bilder aufzunehmen, (1) Den
Auslöser (SHTR-Taste) drücken, oder (2) Den POWER-
Schalter auf „OFF“ und dann wieder auf „REC“ stellen.

Taking Pictures
Always look at the LCD Screen from a position squarely
in front. Also, to eliminate the Camera shake, hold the
Camera firmly with both hands.
Make sure that the NORMAL/MACRO1/MACRO2 Switch
is set to “NORMAL”.

While holding down the center button,
slide the POWER Switch to the “REC”
position.
¡ Do not release the button until it has been slid all
the way to “REC”.
¡ The POWER Lamp lights.

Press the SHTR (SHUTTER) Button.
¡ The SHTR (SHUTTER) Button employs a two-step
release system.
Pressing the button about halfway down until some
resistance is felt activates and locks the auto focus
onto the subject at which the Camera is aimed. To
actually take pictures, press the button strongly all
the way down.
¡ The “REC” (now recording) Indication flashes on
the LCD Screen. (The POWER Lamp also
flashes.)
While it is flashing, the image being recorded
appears on the LCD Screen.
During this time, you cannot proceed to take the
next picture because the image which you have
just taken is now being recorded.
¡ To continue taking pictures, press the SHTR
Button after the image on the LCD Screen begins
to move.
» Notes
¡ Focusing is done automatically (the minimum distance
between Camera and subject is approx. 50 cm).
¡ If no operation is conducted for a minute or so while the
power is supplied, the power will be turned off
automatically in order to save power [Auto Power Off].
[This does not work when using the AC Adaptor
(optional).]
To take pictures again after that, (1) Press the SHTR
(SHUTTER) Button, or (2) Set the POWER Switch to
the “OFF” position and then again to the “REC” position.
(In order to protect the lens and CCD image sensor, we
recommend that you return the POWER Switch to the
“OFF” position after the Auto Power Off function was
activated.)
