10.18 Specifying the ON/OFF settings of the function (Func-
tion ON/OFF Setting)
ON/OFF settings of the function for transmission or reception are specified.
F-Code TX: ON*/OFF

Set whether or not to use the F-code transmission function.
- For details on the confidential function, refer to “Confidential transmis-
sion (F-Code TX)” on page 6-68.
- For details on F-Code transmission, refer to “Sending the fax after spec-
ifying the relay destination (F-Code TX)” on page 6-71.
Relay RX: ON*/OFF

At relay distribution station, original received from Originating station is
broadcast to relay distribution destination. The relay box should be reg-
istered in order to use the relay distribution function.
- For registration of relay box, refer to “Specifying Relay box settings” on
page 9-42.
Relay Printing: ON/OFF*

The original received from Originating station is printed.
Destination Check Display Function: ON/OFF*

Whether or not to display the list of specified destinations at the time of
sending the fax is set.
Confirm Address (TX): ON / OFF*

Select whether the screen for entering the destination appears again for
confirmation when the fax recipient is specified manually. Requiring that
the destination be entered twice reduces misdirected faxes.
Confirm Address (Register): ON / OFF*

Select whether the screen for entering the destination appears again for
confirmation when a destination is being registered. Requiring that the
destination be entered twice reduces the possibility of registering desti-
nations incorrectly.
