logbook function
The Industrial PC has a logbook function which records system events and error messages.
The logbook entries are meant to facilitate the system diagnostics in the event of faults.
The logbook function
displays the recorded error messages and events of the IPC applications,
automatically stores the information on the CF card.
Structure of a logbook entry
Each logbook entry contains the following information:
Ascending numbering,
Date / time,
Application causing the logbook entry,
Severity of the event in the four categories
– Information,
– Warning,
– Error,
– Fatal error.
Area as the event origin of the triggered error message.
