5.3.6.0 Showing the Station Manager Application Setpoint and Span
Controls

This task shows the Station Manager application Setpoint and Span window. The Setpoint control adjusts
the command signal mean. The Span control adjusts the command signal’s multiplier. Prior to running the
test, minimize the Station Manager application main window, but keep the Setpoint and Span window visible.
When you run the test, you can observe the changes the MPE application makes to these controls, and you
can change these controls yourself manually.

1. In the Station Manager application main window, locate the Station Controls panel.

2. Click the Span Setpoint icon.

3. Observe the Span Setpoint window. If necessary, set the Span to 100% and the Setpoint to 0.0.

Note:

Do not close the Span Setpoint window. You use the controls in the Station Manager Setpoint and
Span window when the test runs.

4. On the toolbar, select an access level of Operator.

5. On the Station Controls panel, select Exclusive Control.

6. Minimize the main window of the Station Manager application.
