To save event data from a date folder, be sure the desired date folder is
selected and click the Save control button in the upper left corner of the Logs
window. A “Save As” dialog box will appear for you to specify the file name and
file location.

The file type will be a “.csv” (comma separated value).

Specify the file name and location and click Save.

To copy event data from a date folder to the clipboard, be sure the desired date
folder is selected and click the Save to Clipboard control button. The data will
be saved to the clipboard. It can then be pasted into a document by using the
Paste command in an application.

Interval Trend Data

Average gas concentrations over the user defined interval trend time are logged in
the interval trend data files. The interval trend time is set using either the Data Log
Interval menu item in the Edit Function Screen, the GX-2009 Data Logger
Management Program, or the GX-2009 User Setup Program. See “Edit Function” on
page 95, the GX-2009 Data Logger Management Program Operator’s Manual, or the
GX-2009 User Setup Program Operator’s Manual for instructions to set the interval
trend time. Events such as gas alarms or sensor failures are saved in the interval
trend data file when they occur.

An interval trend data file is created and saved in the instrument when the instrument
is turned off. The serial number, user ID, and station ID that are entered in the
instrument when it is turned on are saved for the corresponding interval trend file. If
the instrument’s serial number, user ID, or station ID are changed using the GX-2009
