52 Calibration
MAX SPD
The MAX SPD setting determines the motor speed when
the speed adjust potentiometer or external reference signal
is set for maximum speed. It is factory set for maximum
rated motor speed.
To calibrate MAX SPD:
1. Set the MAX SPD trimpot full CCW.
2. Turn the speed adjust potentiometer full CW or set the
external reference signal for maximum speed.
3. Adjust the MAX SPD trimpot until the desired
maximum motor speed is reached.
IMPORTANT: Check the MIN SPD and MAX SPD
settings after recalibrating to verify that the motor runs at
the desired minimum and maximum speeds.
IMPORTANT: If operation requires switching between
AUTO and MANUAL modes, the user should verify
calibration for both modes if required.
