How to Adjust the Focus
Select the Auto Focus Mode or the Manual Focus Mode
according to the conditions of the subject or the
surroundings.

How to Shoot with the Auto Focus
Mode
When the [AE] Dial is set to “AUTO”, the Movie Camera
will automatically focus precisely on almost any subject.
Notes:
•The focus is automatically adjusted to the subject in
the centre of the Viewfinder.
Aim the Movie Camera so that the subject is in the
centre of the Viewfinder as shown in illustration 0.
O Correct @ Wrong
•When the [AE] Dial is set to a position other than
“AUTO”, and the “MF” Indication is shown in the
Viewfinder, press the [FOCUS] Button to make the
“MF” Indication disappear.
Notes:
In the following shooting situations, use the Manual
Focus Mode:
(T) A subject with shiny surfaces or much light reflection.
(2) A subject behind glass that is covered with dirt, dust
or water drops.
(3) A subject with a part of it near the Movie Camera and
another part far away from it.
(4) A flat surface, e.g. a white wall.
(5) An oblique subject.
•A fast-moving subject.
•A subject with a dark surface.
•When using fhe Macro Close-up Function, special
lenses or filters.
Scharfeinstellen
Je nach Bildgegenstand und Flintergrund sollte
automatische oder manuelle Scharfeinstellung gewählt
werden.

Scharfeinstellungs-Funktion
Wenn der [AE]-Wahlschalter auf „AUTO“ steht, stellt der
Camerarecorder automatisch auf fast alle
Bildgegenstände präzis scharf ein.
Hinweise:
• Die Scharfeinstellung erfolgt automatisch auf den
Bildgegenstand in der Mitte des Sucherbildes.
Den Camerarecorder so ausrichten, daß der
Bildgegenstand in der Mitte des Sucherbildes ist, wie in
Abbildung O gezeigt.

•Wenn der [AE]-Wahlschalter auf eine andere Position
als „AUTO“ eingestellt und die Anzeige „MF“ im
Sucher sichtbar ist, muß die Taste [FOCUS] gedrückt
werden, damit die Anzeige „MF“ verschwindet.
Hinweise:
Bei folgenden Aufnahmebedingungen sollte die
Scharfeinstellung manuell durchgeführt werden:
© Bildgegenstand mit glänzenden Flächen, Gegenlicht
und viel Lichtreflexion.
@ Bildgegenstand hinter verschmutztem oder nassem
Fenster.
@ Bildgegenstand, der zum Teil nahe bei der Kamera
und zum Teil weit davon entfernt ist.
z. B. eine Wand oder ein @ Flacher Bildgegenstand,
Plakat.
® Schräger Blldgegenstand.
•Bildgegenstand mit schneller Bewegung.
• Bildgegenstand mit dunkler Oberfläche.
•Aufnehmen mit der Makro-Nahaufnahme-Funktion, mit
Spezialfiltern oder mit Vorsatzlinsen.
