Viewing the Face ID
User Manual in the Internet
The Face ID User Manual is available in the package when
you purchased the FingerTec® Face ID. The User Manual is
also available online at fingertec.com and
user.fingertec.
com . Choose the language that you prefer for your User
Manual.
Face ID Included Accessories
Do not abuse the fingerprint sensor by scratching the sur-
face, contacting the sensor’s surface with heat, pressing
hard during placement of fingerprint for verification. Clean
the sensor occasionally with micofiber cloth to maintain
the performance of the sensor.
DC 12V Power Adapter
Connect the power adapter to Face
ID and plug it into a standard power
outlet to charge Face ID.
Cat 5 Cable
Connect the CAT5 to Face ID and
another end for LAN connection.
Stylus
For easy navigation on touch screen
LCD panel.
Screwdriver
T10 screwdriver to open the back
plate of Face ID for installation.
USB Extension
Connect one end of the USB exten-
sion to Face ID and another to a USB
flash disk to download/upload data
from/to Face ID. Connection Wires
Connect the wires to door lock,
doorbell, RS232 and RS485, if
required.
A Packet of Bolts
Use the bolts to mount the back
plate of Face ID on the wall.
Measurement Tape
Measuring installation height to
achieve optimum performance
for Face ID.
RFID Cards (5 pcs)
FingerTec provides extra cards
for RFID (5pcs) and for Mifare
Card, every package comes with
only 1 sample card.
