3.2 Initial GUI Access & Video Display (All Assigned Users)
The encoder GUI immediately opens to the web browser video display (“Live” tab).
To access the main menu for configuration changes, click the “Set Up” tab.
3.2.1 Streaming Type Options
H.2364, MPEG-4 and MJPEG are the available compression type options to stream
the video. The encoder will begin to stream with the new compression method as
soon as the type is selected. MPEG4 is the only option which will produce an analog
video display from the output of the KBC Decoder.
Item Configuration Detail
1 Click pull down menu to show streaming options.
2 Select MPEG4 if connecting to a KBC MPEG4 Decoder. There is no need to
apply or save/reboot as this selection will apply automatically and will
remain the selected streaming type until changed here later.
3 Click “Setup” tab to enter the main menu for configuration options.
Note: Configuration options are available to the root admin user only. All other
users will have access to view only live video and system information
details. If after selecting “Set Up” the only option shown is the System Info
then you have logged in as one of the other view only users.
