3.3.16 Video & Audio: OSD / Privacy Mask
To enable, click the “Enable” box then click the desired “Region” expand [+] button
and enable. In the example below, the text “MAIN LOT” is written into Region 1
(Upper Left corner). The <What is It?> link will explain how to populate the “Format
of Texts” section.
OSD, or On Screen Display, or Privacy Mask can be selected. The privacy mask will
place a color box over the desired area in order to prevent the area from being seen
on the encoder web browser video display. The redacted display will also be
presented on the video output when connected to a KBC Decoder. When the OSD is
selected, the format parameters must match the format notice. At that point
whatever is written into the “pre-defined text” area will appear on the video display
based on the format parameters. This text will not be displayed by the decoder video
output.
1. Click the [+] window expansion button next to the desired region of the video
display box.
2. Click the check-box to enable.
3. Select OSD (on Screen Display) and follow steps 4~7 below. Or select “Privacy
