8.7 Activating/Deactivating Automatic Update for Devices
Sunny Portal can carry out an automatic firmware update on the devices of your PV system.
This means that you will benefit from ongoing product enhancements.
You can set the automatic update for individual devices or for all devices. When you change and
save the setting for one device, you will be asked whether the setting should be adopted for all
devices.
1. Call up the device properties (see Section 8.1 "Calling up the Device Properties", page 48).
2. Select [Edit].
☑ The menu for setting the device properties opens.
3. In the area Automatic updates, activate or deactivate the checkbox Automatically update
device.
4. Select [Save].
☑ A prompt appears.
5. To adopt the setting for all devices, select [Accept].
