7.3 Grid Monitoring for Power Frequency
You can manually specify the limiting values and tripping time. Three separate overvoltage and
undervoltage limits can be set for frequency monitoring.
For example, you can set activation to occur after 1 second if there is an overfrequency of 50.5 Hz
or even after 0.1 seconds if the overfrequency reaches 51.5 Hz.

1. Access the SC-COM interface.
2. Enter your password in the appropriate field on the homepage and press [Login].
3. Change the parameter for grid monitoring (see section 5.2 "Changing Parameters", page 34).
4. Confirm parameter by pressing [Save].
Contact the SMA Service Line before changing any parameters
Contact your grid operator and SMA Solar Technology AG before changing any grid
monitoring parameters. The parameters are protected by a password.
