Installation

The FCIP depends on the instance of fp. If multiple HBAs are present, plumb
manually after identifying the fp instance on which IP should be plumbed. The
following two procedures determine fp instances.

To Determine All FP Instances to Which IP Can
Be Plumbed

1. Become root.

2. Determine fp instances.

There are four instances (0-3) of fp present in the system.

# prtconf -v | grep fp

fp (driver not attached)

fp, instance #0

fp (driver not attached)

fp, instance #1

fp (driver not attached)

fp, instance #2

fp (driver not attached)
