Displaying RDS
Information
You have access to three kinds of RDS information, and can freely
switch between them.
1 Tune into an FM radio station.
Only FM stations broadcast RDS data, so you must be
listening to a station in the FM band to display any RDS
information.
For more detailed instructions on tuning to stations, see page
27.

In addition, there is a program type, ALARM!, used for
exceptional emergency announcements. You can't search for this,
but the tuner will switch automatically to any station that’s
broadcasting this RDS signal.

1 Accordez une station radio FM.
Seules les stations FM diffusent des données RDS. Vous devez
donc écouter une station de la gamme FM pour que les
informations RDS s’affichent.

Il existe en outre un autre type de programme, ALARM!, utilisé
en cas d’annonces urgentes. Vous ne pouvez pas sélectionner ce
type de programme, mais la station qui diffuse ce signal RDS sera
automatiquement accordée en cas d’annonces urgentes.
