Searching for a Program
Type
One of the most useful features of RDS is the ability to search for a
particular kind of radio program. You can search for any of the
program types listed on pages 43 and 44 —this covers all kinds of
music, as well as news, weather forecasts, sports programs, and a
variety of others.
1 Press DISPLAY and select PTY SEARCH.
Press DISPLAY repeatedly to switch between the options,
then press SET .

2 Press DISPLAY.
Press repeatedly and choose between:
RT - Radio Text
PS - Program Service Name
PTY - Program Type
Stop on the one you want, then press SET .
The display will show the RDS information, if there is any. If
the station you're listening to is not transmitting any RDS
information, you'll see the message
NO DATA in the display.
If you selected PTY and the display shows NO TYPE , the
display will revert automatically to the program service name
after about 5 seconds.

Recherche d’un type de
programme
Une des fonctions les plus utiles du RDS est la recherche d’un type
particulier de programme radio. Vous pouvez rechercher
n’importe quel programme indiqué à aux pages 43 et 44. Tous les
genres musicaux sont couverts ainsi que les actualités, la
météorologie, les émissions sportives, etc.
1 Appuyez sur DISPLAY et sélectionnez
PTY SEARCH.
Appuyez à plusieurs reprises sur DISPLAY pour sélectionner
une option, puis appuyez sur SET .
2 Appuyez sur DISPLAY.
Appuyez de façon répétée sur cette touche et choisissez entre :
RT - Radiotexte
PS - Nom de la chaîne de programme
PTY - Type de programme
Arrêtez-vous sur le type d’informations souhaité et appuyez
sur
SET .
Des informations RDS apparaissent sur l’afficheur s’il en
existe. Si la station que vous écoutez ne diffuse pas
actuellement des informations RDS, le message
NO DATA
apparaîtra.
Si vous sélectionnez PTY et si NO TYPE s’affiche, le nom de
la chaîne de programme réapparaîtra automatiquement
dans les 5 secondes.

L’indicateur RDS s’allume et les informations RDS de la
station sont affichées
