Enabling/Disabling an Extensions Directory Privacy

An Administrator can enable or disable individual extensions (User and
Administrator extensions) from displaying in a Corporate Directory. If this feature
is enabled, the User’s extension does not display in the Corporate Directory and is
not listed in the dial-by-name directory. By default, the Private Extension feature
is disabled.

You enable or disable private extensions at the location
Users->User List-><select an existing user or click Add Phone>->General.
