Description
Assigns an IP address to an interface. To remove an IP address or
disable IP processing, use the no form of this command.

Sample Output
The following example assigns IP address 170.180.5.33 to an
interface labeled “boston”.

ip address 170.180.5.33

Name Definition
ip-address The IP address assigned to the interface.
mask Mask for the associated IP subnet.
