Description
Sets the period of cache invalidation due to aging. The no form of
this command disables aging and restores the default of 120 seconds.

Sample Output
The following example sets the IP multicast route cache aging
invalidation period to 200 seconds.
<configure># ip multicast route-cache update-
timeout 200

Name Definition
ip-multicast-period The period, in seconds, that route cache entries are
invalidated. The range is 20 to 360 seconds.
