Description
To consolidate and summarize routes at an area boundary, use the
area range router configuration command. To disable this function,
use the no form of this command.

Sample Output
The following command sets an area range on the indicated area.
(configure router:ospf)# area 2.0.0.0 range
10.0.5.123 255.0.0.0

To Disable: [no] area <area-id> range <ip-address> <mask>
Name Definition
area-id IP address that represents the area-id for the system.
ip-address IP address of the area range.
mask IP address of the mask for the area range.
