9/440 Resolver–based CNC/Drive System

All 9/440 Resolver–based CNC/Drives have four LEDs on the system
module and one LED on each axis module in the system. The LEDs
operate as follows.

System Module LEDs
The system module has four LEDs. They are:

LED

Indicates

XILINX

Under normal operation this LED is on. If it
turns off while the system module is under
power it indicates a XILINX hardware fault.
Contact your local Allen–Bradley Service.

WATCHDOG

Under normal operation this LED is on. If it
turns off while the system module is under
power it indicates the watchdog has timed out
and a processor failure has occurred. Contact
your local Allen-Bradley Service.

R–I/O

Only available on systems with remote I/O. This
LED illuminates when the remote I/O link is
communicating. See page 5A-35.

STATUS

This is identical to the Watchdog LED but is
visible through the system modules front cover.
