Setting Up the GV3000/SE Drive
This chapter describes how to configure a GV3000/SE drive for use with a ControlNet
network. The sections that follow describe the GV3000/SE parameters related to
ControlNet operation.
3.1 Setting the Control Type (P.048)
The first parameter that must be set up is P.048 (Volts/Hertz or Vector Regulation).
This parameter is used to select the control type as volts/hertz or vector. All units ship
from the factory with the control type set to volts/hertz (P.048 = U-H). If this is not the
desired mode of operation, you must change P.048.
Important: When P.048 is changed, all P parameters (except P.048 and P.049) are
reset to their default values.
Parameter P.048 cannot be written over the ControlNet network.
Parameter Range: U-H = V/Hz control
UEC = vector control
Default Setting: U-H
Parameter Type: Non-volatile, Configurable
