Continuous Condec Output Serial Data Format

The continuous mode output serial data format is used to interface computers, scoreboards, and other remote
devices requiring constant data updating. Continuous mode transmission occurs at the end of each display update.

8.1.3

RS485 Data Formats

The IQ 700 has a built-in RS485 software protocol which is enabled when you assign an address to the indicator.
Settings for RS485 are required on port 1 and are as follows:

14.dU, 14.3dE, and 14.4 (baud rate selection)

Option 5 must be turned on. See Section 4.5 on page 28.

All remote command are initiated using the following data format
