b. To remove a peer MEP, type 2 and press Enter. You are prompted for the MEP ID

number. Type the number and press Enter.

c. When all the peer MEPs have been configured, type A to accept and press Enter.

d. Press Esc to return to the Maintenance Associations Attributes screen.

NOTE: When you select a MEP ID while creating a maintenance end point from a peer MEPs list
(Figure 11-16), the selected MEP ID becomes local to the device and the rest of the MEP IDs
automatically become peers. You must define MEP IDs in a given MA prior to creating MEP in
the 9145E.

5. You can change the Permissions (Sender ID). Select None, Chassis, Manage,

ChassisManage, or Defer, and press Enter.

6. When you are finished, type A to accept the settings and press Enter.

7. Press Esc to return to the Maintenance Association List screen.
