Configuration Using the Web Interface

SysLog Configuration

The System Log provides the system administrator ES7510 events history. There are two System Log modes
provided by the ES7510, Local mode and Remote mode.

When enabling Local or Both modes, you can monitor the system logs in the Monitor and Diag /Event Log
page.

PoE Powering Event

Warning is sent when…..

Enable

The PoE port is powering.

Disable

The PoE port is not powering.

Apply

Click Apply to apply the settings.

Note: You must Save the settings (

settings if the ES7510 is powered off.

Warning - SysLog Configuration Page

Syslog Mode

There are two system logs available:

Local Mode: The ES7510 prints the events that have been
selected in the Event Selection page to the System Log table of
the ES7510. You can monitor the system logs in the Monitor
and Diag /Event Log
page.

Remote Mode: Assign the IP address of the System Log
server. The ES7510 sends the events that occurred in the
selected in Event Selection page to System Log server that you
assign.

Both: This enables both Local and Remote modes.

Remote IP Address

The IP address of the System log server.

Apply

Click Apply to apply the settings.
